Strain Energy Density of Rubber-like Shells of Arbitrary GeometryDepartment of Civil Engineering, Yildiz Technical University, Besiktas, Istanbul, Turkey An approach for the derivation of two-dimensional strain energy density functions of incompressible, rubber-like shells of arbitrary geometry undergoing finite rotations and finite strains, including transverse normal strains, is presented. Transverse shear strains are neglected.
